Print Autopsy

Failed print in. Fixed profile out.

Your print failed. Here's the one setting to change.

Snap the mess, drop in your .3mf from Bambu Studio, Orca or PrusaSlicer. Get back 1-3 changed numbers and a profile you import. In development — join the waitlist.

Why Print Autopsy

Reads your real settings.

The .3mf already holds your printer, filament and process profile. No form, no "what's your retraction?"

A profile, not a lecture.

You get a modified profile to import, with each change marked: Retraction 0.8 → 0.5 mm. Nothing else touched.

Remembers what worked.

Next time you load that PETG on that printer, the known-good settings are already there.

How it works

  1. Photo the failed print on the bed.
  2. Upload the sliced project file (.3mf).
  3. Import the fixed profile and reprint. Change one thing at a time, on purpose.

Questions

Which slicers?

Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer and PrusaSlicer at launch, because their .3mf files carry the full config. Cura is on the list for later.

What will it cost?

$29 a year, unlimited fixes. Nothing to pay now; the waitlist is free.

Can't I just ask ChatGPT or r/FixMyPrint?

You can, and they'll guess at settings they can't see. Print Autopsy reads yours and gives you a file to import, so you're not retyping advice.
